The showdown between Ryan and Ste

The showdown between Ryan and Ste Hay exploded as Ste prepared to kill Ryan for what he had done. Ryan tried to lie his way out of trouble but when he eventually cracked and admitted the truth, Ste snapped and knocked him out again.

However, as he set up a plan to kill Ryan, he broke down and realised that he couldn’t do it – so instead he insisted that Ryan confessed the truth to the police and paid the price for the crime. However, Ryan soon turned the tables and made to escape, leading to a violent struggle between the two men.

When Ryan gained the upper hand, he knocked Ste to the ground and started to suffocate him just as Tony Hutchinson and Leela Lomax burst in and prevented him from ending Ste’s life. 

 Ryan made a bid for freedom but as police surrounded the area, he had nowhere left to go and conceded defeat, dropping to his knees and being arrested at last. Phew! All’s well that ends well, right?

 Well, not quite. A source confirmed to Metro.co.uk that this is not the end of the story and that there are more twists to play out before the character of Ryan is written out for good – and that includes another death.
Duncan recently teased on This Morning that another fatality would be coming – so is Ryan set to break free and have one last showdown with Hollyoaks before a very final exit? And could someone else be leaving with him?
Or, with Kim Butterfield still locked up in the school, will she breathe her last before anyone can save her?

Dragging him to the bathroom, Ste starts to fill the tub as he decides to do away with the murderer.

Desperate to save his own skin, Ryan emotionally reveals that Amy's death had been an accident, and how he had lashed out at her because she wouldn't stop accusing him of being gay. 

Ste attacks him and throws him up against the bathroom door - knocking him out once again.
